Who is the target audience?
The target audience will be everyone around Soda Springs, Fish Haven, and Preston, Idaho. It will also be those looking to visit. It will be geared towards teenagers and adults. They will be able to access it with any device that can use the internet.
Persona 1
Rachel Cook
She is a blogger that loves to travel cheaply. She is very active and loves the outdoors. She takes a lot of pictures with her phone, but uses her ipad to create her posts. She is unmarried. She has several siblings she texts frequently and calls at least once a month.
Persona 2
Elliot Hansen
Elliot is a married man with several elementary school aged kids. He is a dentist that works 4 days a week. His wife works part-time on the days he doesn't work. They share the resposibility of getting the kids up in the morning and taking them to school. He likes to go on early morning walks with his chocolate lab.
Scenario 1
Someone wants to go on vacation to Bear Lake. They will be staying at Fish Haven. They want to know what weather to expect so they know the best time to go. The weather site will give them this information. It will have current weather information along with future weather information.
Scenario 2
Someone is planning on going on a hike with their friends later in the day, but when they look outside they notice it is getting cloudy. They want to know whether the weather will premit them to go on a hike or if they should switch to a different activity. The website will let them know if the clouds are going to clear up so they can plan their day accordingly.
Scenario 3
Someone is planning a trip to southern Idaho and is looking into where to stay. They have narrowed their search to the south eastern corner of Idaho and find a town with a cool name. Either Soda Springs or Fish Haven. They can go to the weather website to find out information on both of these towns to help them decide where to stay.
Scenario 4
A mother is trying to get her kids ready for school. She needs to know whether it is going to be cold enough that they will need jackets. The weather site will be able to tell her how cold it will be. With that information she can determine whether her children will need jackets.
Scenario 5
A young adult is excited about a trip they have planned for Preston, Idaho. They want to see where they will be going. The weather site can help with this. There is a gallery tab that will show the young adult pictures of Preston, Idaho.
